You are invited to meet Stephen Eastaugh at the

Opening Reception: Friday, 5 October between 6-30pm to 9pm

John Batten is pleased to announce a new exhibition by Stephen Eastaugh and the re-opening of the John Batten Gallery.

Stephen Eastaugh has previously exhibited at John Batten Gallery in 1998, 2001 and 2004. His latest series of work, Finding Yourself Lost, is all slightly three-dimensional, predominantly using acrylic paint as background on linen and using stitched thread, polyester, cotton and wool to highlight a central theme.

Each work was completed over the last two years while the artist travelled to different places around the world and each offers fantasy, landscape, minimalism, painterly impressionism and a quirky array of surreal and invented shapes and creatures – making both social comment and to highlight life’s odd diversity.
